Specialty Polymers Inc. has hired Kelly Kane to be the company’s new director of operations. Kane will be responsible for overseeing the company’s production sites in Woodburn and Chester, S.C. His responsibilities cover all facets of the company’s operations, including product quality. Prior to working for Specialty, Kane was vice president of manufacturing at Munzing. He has more than 18 years of experience in manufacturing and operations. Kane earned his MBA from Duquesne University, and his degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
